ecobutton is the latest power saving device for your computer. The eco button is designed to reduce computer electricity consumption and nationwide, could prevent millions of tonnes of CO2 from being wasted. The ecobutton will save electricity when used regularly. There are many times each day when you take a break but your computer is left running idle, users generally don't like to use the sleep or hibernate modes due to the time it often takes for computers to restart. ecobutton solves this problem. With one simple click of the ecobutton your computer is instantly put into a deep power saving ecomode which turns off your monitor and all unnecessary processes. Then, when you return to your machine, simply hit any key and your computer instantly returns to where your left off. No loss of electricity, no wasted CO2.
Computers and monitors can account for half of the electricity used in a typical office.
